Let me tell you that after the Second World War, a new country for Jews was formed, Israel. After this, Israel came under target of many Muslim countries. For the sake of self-defense, Israel gave its full strength to strengthen itself. In 1967, the war was won from 8 countries in just 6 days. Israel .....- On 27 May 1967, the then President of Egypt, Abdul Nasser announced that the Arabs now want to destroy Israel.

At the end of May, there was an agreement between Egypt and Jordan that if one country was attacked by Israel, the other country would support it.The war on the Israel-Egypt border started in June and soon spread to many more Arab countries.

In this war fought between Israel and Egypt, countries like Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Algeria joined against Israel. This war is also known as ' June War'.

These countries built their army base in Jordan to attack Israel. These countries used to attack Israel before that on June 5, Israeli Air force had flown almost 400 Fighter Jets on the ground. This made the enemy countries nervous and the war was over in just 6 days.

Why did Israel attack first:

Israel believed that if it had to win it would have to attack first. For this purpose, Israel started a stinging attack on the fighters present at the army base of Jordan. Immediately after the Israeli attack, a mobilization of Arab countries started on the Israeli border .

But in the ground battle also, the Israeli forces not only defeated them, but also captured the Gaza Strip. About 1 Thousand Israeli soldiers were killed . About one thousand Israeli soldiers were killed in the war, while four and a half thousand were injured. Many Israeli soldiers were also taken hostage.

At the same time, the death toll in Arab countries was more. In this war, about 15,000 soldiers of Egypt alone were killed, while about four and a half thousand soldiers were taken hostage, besides 6 thousand of Jordan and Syria. Nearly a thousand soldiers were killed.

War effects Arab-Israeli diplomacy:

If seen, the Israeli-Egyptian war brought many changes in Middle East politics. In mid-May 1967, there was an opinion in the White House that Israel should be given a chance to defeat its enemies. It will help in resolving the issue of refugees while ensuring the border between Israel and Arab countries.

On June 5, 1957 just the day after the fighting, US President Lyndon Johnson outlined a peace that is still the basis of American diplomacy in the Arab-Israeli conflict. The proposal mentioned that Israel would return the territories it had won in 1967 to gain recognition from Arab countries. The American people felt that the military conquest of Israel would tell the Arab world that they were unsuccessful dreams of destroying the Jewish state. It is different that many Israelis also agreed with this thinking of America.
