AFCAT 2020 Notification: 249 Vacancies Notified in IAF AFCAT and NCC Special Entry, Apply Online @afcat.cdac.in

AFCAT 01/2020 Notification : The Indian Air Force has invited online applications from Indian Citizens to be a part of the Indian Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in Flying (Pilot), Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches. In addition to this, applications are also invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (flying).

Registration for Online Application:  will open on 1st Dec 2020 & Close on 30 Dec 2020.  (You can register yourself on careerindianairforce.cdac.in or by afcat.cdac.in.)

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 01/2020:

1. Flying Branch:
The age limit is 20 to 24 years as of 01 January 2021, i.e. between 02 Jan 1997 and 01 Jan 2001 (including both dates). The upper age limit for applicants holding a valid and current DGCA (India) Commercial Pilot License is relaxed up to 26 years, i.e. born between 02 January 1995 and 01 January 2001 (both dates included).

2. Ground Duty:
The age limit is 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2021 i.e. born between 02 Jan 1995 to 01 Jan 2001 (both dates included).

How to apply for AFCAT 01/2020:

Step 1: Visit the official website- www.afcat.cdac.in

Step 2: Go to Candidate Login & Click on AFCAT 02/2019

Step 3: Click on "Not Yet Registered? Register Here"

Step 4:  Sign up by entering your personal details with a Valid Email ID.

Step 5: Check your username & password in the Email ID

Step 6: Reset your password and Log Out.

Step 7: Login again with selecting your entry: AFCAT; NCC Spl Entry for Flying Branch

Step 8: Click on Instruction & Proceed

Step 9: Enter all your details - personal details, qualification, course preference & upload documents

Step 10: Choose the Centre of examination

Step 11: Make Payment & Check Payment Status

Step 12: Submit your application

AFCAT 2020 Online Application Link: to active from 01 Dec

AFCAT Exam Pattern:

The AFCAT 1 2019 will be for two hours and will include questions of multiple choices on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness, and military ability.
Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) would be carried out after AFCAT for 45 minutes. Passing both AFCAT & EKT is mandatory for candidates who opt for ground duty (Technical) branch.
