Chief Guest of 71st Republic Day 2020
Dear friends as you know, India is going to celebrate its 71st Republic Day on 26 January 2020. And like every time, this time also a new chief guest will get a chance to join the Republic Day of India. According to protocol, the post of chief guest on Republic Day is considered India's greatest honor.
In 2020, The award will be given to the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, By the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi , During the BRICS conference in Brazil. The invitation has been accepted by the President of Brazil.
Procedure for inviting the Chief Guest of the Republic Day celebrations
Every year on the occasion of Republic Day, India invites a famous celebrity to make it as its headline. And in India, preparations for this Republic Day begin several months in advance.
India's Foreign Ministry investigates various aspects for which country's celebrity will be called. Most important in this is how the relationship of that country with India. Prior to inviting any country, approval of the Prime Minister and permission from the President are taken.
[Note :- As you know, the Bolsonaro government has abolished the Visa requirement for Indians to visit Branzil in October 2019. So we can say that India and Brazil have a very good relationship.]
About Jair Bolsonaro
- Jair Bolsonaro was born on 21 March 1955 in Brazil.
- He is the 38th President of Brazil. He is a former captain of the Brazilian Army.
- Jair Bolsonaro comes from the Conservative Social Liberal Party.
- He was also involved in controversies in Brazil between 1964 and 1985, praising the 'military' dictatorship.
- He is also known as the 'Trump of Brazil' because of Bolsonaro's strong views on laws related to abortion, racism, homosexuality and guns.
- He has served for seven years as a 'Chamber of Deputies' in the lower house of the Brazilian Congress before being elected as President.

गणतंत्र दिवस 2020 के मुख्य अतिथि
Dear friends जैसा कि आप जानते हैं कि भारत 26 जनवरी 2020 को अपना 71 वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाने जा रहा है। और हर बार की तरह इस बार भी एक नए मुख्य अतिथि को भारत के गणतंत्र दिवस में शामिल होने का मौका मिलेगा। प्रोटोकॉल के मुताबिक गणतंत्र दिवस पर मुख्य अतिथि का पद भारत का सबसे बड़ा सम्मान माना जाता है।2020 में यह सम्मान ब्राजील के राष्ट्रपति जेयर बोल्सोनारो को भारत की तरफ से दिया जाएगा।भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने जेयर बोल्सोनारो को यह न्योता ब्राजील में ब्रिक्स सम्मेलन के दौरान दिया था। ब्राजील के राष्ट्रपति की ओर से निमंत्रण स्वीकार कर लिया गया है।
गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि निमंत्रण देने की प्रक्रिया
भारत प्रत्येक साल गणतंत्र दिवस के मौके पर किसी प्रसिद्ध हस्ती को बतौर मुख्यातिथि बनाने का न्योता देता है। और भारत में इस गणतंत्र दिवस की तैयारियां कई महीने पहले शुरू कर दी जाती हैं।
मुख्य अतिथि किस देश की हस्ती को बुलाया जाएगा इसके लिए भारत का विदेश मंत्रालय विभिन्न पहलुओं की जांच करता है। इसमें सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है कि भारत के साथ उस देश का संबंध कैसा है। किसी भी देश को निमंत्रण देने से पहले प्रधानमंत्री की मंजूरी तथा राष्ट्रपति से अनुमति ली जाती है।
[नोट:- जैसा कि आप जानते हैं बोलसोनारो सरकार ने अक्टूबर 2019 में ब्राजील घूमने हेतु भारतीयों के लिए वीजा की जरूरत खत्म कर दी है ।अतः हम कह सकते कि भारत और ब्राजील के संबंध बहुत अच्छे हैं।]
जेयर बोल्सोनारो के बारे में
- जेयर बोल्सोनारो का जन्म 21 मार्च 1955 को ब्राज़ील में हुआ था।
- वे ब्राजील के 38वें राष्ट्रपति हैं. वे ब्राज़ीलियन सेना के पूर्व कप्तान हैं।
- जेयर बोल्सोनारो कन्जरवेटिव सोशल लिबरल पार्टी से आते हैं।
- वे साल 1964 से साल 1985 के मध्य ब्राजील में ‘मिलिट्री’ तानाशाही की प्रशंसा करने को लेकर भी विवादों में पड़े थे।
- उन्हें गर्भपात, नस्लवाद, समलैंगिकता तथा बंदूक से जुड़े क़ानूनों पर बोल्सोनारो के उग्र विचारों के वजह से 'ब्राज़ील का ट्रंप' भी कहा जाता है।
- वे राष्ट्रपति के रूप में चयनित होने से पहले ब्राजील कांग्रेस के निचले सदन में ‘चैम्बर ऑफ डिप्टीज’ के तौर पर सात साल तक सेवाएं दे चुके हैं।
